Penza, 31 August 2019. PenzaNews. A 34-year-old resident of Penza lost 135,000 roubles, caught on the trick of a fraudster who posed as an employee of a monitoring service of a bank.

"The intruder said that a suspicious transaction involving a card of the interlocutor was carried out in Vladivostok, and in order to prevent the theft of money, it was necessary to transfer it to a reserve account," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region told PenzaNews.

The department added that the man had followed the caller's instructions and only then realized the deception.

A criminal case was opened on the fact of fraud.
