Penza, 4 September 2019. PenzaNews. A 24-year-old resident of Penza who was convicted by court under Art. 135, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Lechery", and Art. 132, Part 4, Item 4 "Violent acts of sexual nature" was sentenced to four years' deprivation of liberty in a strict regime colony. This was reported by Tatyana Makhnitskaya, senior assistant of the head of the regional investigative department for media relations under the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"The investigation and the court established that from October 2016 to April 2018, the man born in 1995, living in an apartment located in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Penza, had entered into correspondence on the Internet with five underage girls aged 13 to 15 years, during which he sent them photos of intimate content and discussed sexual topics. In July 2017, he committed a similar crime against a 10-year-old girl, using her condition of helplessness due to her age," the spokeswoman explained the agency.

She added that during the investigation, the Penza resident had been in custody.

The sentence has not yet entered into force and can be appealed within the time limit established by law.
