Penza, 14 September 2019. PenzaNews. 113 criminal cases were initiated in the Penza region during the regional anti-drug campaign Sura Land Without Drugs, which started on August 12 and finished on September 9. This was stated in a message spread by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office.

"127 protocols on administrative offences have been drawn up, more than 7 kg of prohibited substances have been withdrawn from illicit traffic," the text adds.

It also specifies that the hotline received 370 reports of offences and crimes in the field of drug trafficking, in most cases the information was confirmed.

"The analysis of the state of legality in the anti-drug sphere conducted by the regional Prosecutor's Office has shown the effectiveness of the regional campaign," the press release says.
