Penza, 14 October 2019. PenzaNews. A criminal case was initiated on the fact of deliberate infliction of serious harm to the health of a pensioner in one of the bars of Penza.

"Police commissioners found out that an unknown man had beaten up a pensioner with a chair in a bar in Prospekt Stroiteley Street, causing him numerous fractures. The identity of the attacker has been established – it turned out to be a 41-year-old resident of Penza," the press service of the regional administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia told PenzaNews.

The agency added that the suspect had confessed.

The causes of the conflict and the circumstances of the incident are being established.
