Penza, 9 November 2019. PenzaNews. A 25-year-old Penza resident fell for a trick of scammers and lost her money, hoping to find a job online.

"The woman said that she had seen a job offer on Telegram involving account promotion on Instagram and had followed the link. The website contained an offer to purchase a course on the above mentioned topic at a cost of RUB 3,500, paying it by credit card. Following the terms of the seller, the woman transferred the money but no course was sent to her," the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Penza region said.

At the same time, as the agency noted, the citizen explained to the police that she knew about such methods of deception.

"Investigation on the fact of fraud is conducted. Police officers take measures to identify persons involved in the crime," the press service said.
