Penza, 25 November 2019. PenzaNews. The police started checking the fact of fraud, the victim of which was a 24-year-old resident of Penza, who had transferred 525,000 roubles to a stranger.

According to the press service of regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the woman received a call from an unknown person who introduced himself as a security officer of a bank.

"He said that a suspicious operation was being carried out on an interlocutor’s account and in order to save the money, it was necessary to transfer it to another current account, which is what the woman did," the agency said.

The press service added that at that moment police officers were taking measures to identify persons involved in the crime.
