Penza, 13 December 2019. PenzaNews. A taxi driver is suspected of stealing a phone that was lost by a young woman in a car during a trip from the zoo to Plekhanova Street in Penza.

"The passenger discovered the phone had gone missing when she was already in her apartment," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Penza region told PenzaNews.

The agency added that the driver's identity was established – it is a 32-year-old resident of Penza, who confessed to the crime and returned the device.

"A criminal case was opened on the fact of theft," the press service specified.
