Kuznetsk, 20 January 2020. PenzaNews. A 38-year-old man, who was hit on the head with a hammer, was hospitalized in Kuznetsk, Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"During the inspection, district police officers established that the victim had been hit on the head with a hammer during a conflict by a 43-year-old owner of a flat in Moskovskaya Street, who had been previously prosecuted. He confessed to the crime," the department explained.

The press service added that a criminal case had been initiated under Part 2, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Intentional infliction of grievous harm to health".
