Penza, 22 January 2020. PenzaNews. The fact of illegal hunting of a male elk was registered in Serdobsky area of Penza region. This was said by the press service of the Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Nature Management of the region.

"The damage caused to the hunting fund amounted to 240,000 roubles," the department said.

The press service added that the police had started investigation on that fact and the identity of the poacher was being established.

Earlier in Luninsky area of Penza region unknown persons killed two elks – an elk cow and a calf. The damage caused to the hunting fund is estimated at 640,000 roubles.
