Investigation is organized on the fact of fraud committed against a 27-year-old resident of Penza, who ordered a smart watch worth about 4,000 roubles through the Internet, and upon receipt of the parcel at a post office found a bar of laundry soap inside instead of the prepaid good.

"He called the contact number, but nobody picked up," said the press service of the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The department added that then the man had placed another order on the same site.

"After a while, an unknown woman called him. He complained to her, after which the stranger broke off," the police said.

The press service explained that measures are currently being taken to identify those involved in the commission of the crime.
