Penza, 12 February 2020. PenzaNews. 72 criminal cases were initiated in Penza region in January 2019 on the facts of theft of money from citizens' bank accounts. This is stated in a press release issued by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"The police of the Penza region reminds: Only fraudsters can call and report suspicious transactions with your bank card," the text says.

It adds that if the interlocutor starts asking for secret information, such as the card number and the security code, one should immediately stop talking, and if there are doubts about the safety of funds in the account, they should contact the hotline of the bank.
