In Penza thief who falls asleep at crime scene detained
Penza, 29 March 2020. PenzaNews. Police officers detained a man suspected of stealing property from an office in Novo-Tambovskaya Street in Penza who had fallen asleep at the crime scene because he was intoxicated. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"By breaking a window, the intruder broke into the office from where he stole a system unit, a monitor, a keyboard, a mobile phone, a USB modem and a laser tape measure," the agency said.
The press service added that, according to the detainee, the first time he had entered the room unnoticed, took the property and left, and after a while returned, but, as he was drunk, fell asleep at the table.
A criminal case under Part 2, Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft" was opened on the fact.
