A criminal case under Part 1, Art. 137 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of privacy” was initiated against a man, born in 1998, in the Pervomaisky district of Penza. This was said by the press service of the regional Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee.

“According to investigators, in December 2020, a young man, motivated by jealousy, sent to his acquaintance on a social network pictures of an intimate nature depicting his partner, constituting her personal secret and without her consent, committing a violation of her privacy by these actions,” the agency said.

The press service added that a set of investigative measures was being taken to establish all the circumstances of the crime and to consolidate the evidence.

“Investigation of the criminal case continues,” the department noted.
