Penza, 15 April 2021. PenzaNews. A measure of restraint in the form of house arrest was imposed on the head of the Penza region's Federal Tax Service department, Yury Kalabin, who had been previously detained in the framework of a criminal case launched over the abuse of office by department employees.

“The Pervomaisky district court of Penza ordered Yuri Kalabin to be placed under house arrest for two months, until 12 June 2021,” the court's press service said in a statement.

The investigation’s motion to that effect was heard on April 15.
