Intruder in Penza breaks into car with reader and steals money

Penza, 16 May 2021. PenzaNews. An intruder used a special reader to break into a car, which a Penza resident had parked at a shopping centre near the M5 Ural highway in the Oktyabrsky district of the city and stole more than 7 000 roubles. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

“On the night of May 8-9, 2021, when entering the territory of Penza, employees of the criminal investigation department together with a crew of the road patrol service stopped the car with the man involved in the crime in the cabin. It was a resident of Ufa born in 1969,” the press release said.
It notes that criminal proceedings were instituted in this case.
“The man pleaded guilty and repented,” the text reads.
