Penza, 30 July 2021. PenzaNews. Two men born in 2002, one of whom had a previous criminal record, are suspected of stealing 130 kg of potatoes from someone else’s plot, located 500 metres away from the village of Stary Kryazhim, Kuznetsk area, Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

“The men confessed. They said they had sold some of the stolen goods to acquaintances,” the press release says.

It adds that two sacks of potatoes and two shovels were seized from the young men.

“A criminal case was opened on the fact of theft,” the text specifies.
