Penza, 12 August 2021. PenzaNews. The fact of illegal felling of oak, maple and ash trees was detected in the territory of Belinsky forestry in Penza region. This was stated in a message of the press service of the Ministry of Forestry, Hunting and Nature Management of the region.
“The volume of illegally harvested wood amounted to 4.6 cubic metres,” the text reads.

It specifies that the damage caused to the forestry sector exceeded 1.1 million roubles.

“Materials on the detected case of illegal logging were forwarded to law enforcement agencies. The violator of forest legislation was identified as a resident of Kuteevka village,” the text says.
