Moscow City Court upholds prolongation of Belozertsev’s detention

Moscow, 1 September 2021. PenzaNews. The Court of Moscow acknowledged legal prolongation of the custody period for the former governor of Penza region, Ivan Belozertsev, who was accused of committing a crime under Part 6, Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Bribe taking", till November 20.

“By order of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow of August 17, 2021, Belozertsev’s detention was extended until November 20, 2021. The appeal upheld the ruling of the court of first instance,” the Moscow City Court press service told reporters.
