Penza, 16 September 2021. PenzaNews. A customer of a Penza supermarket left the store without paying for goods in a trolley, worth more than 11 000 roubles. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

“When viewing the CCTV footage, the police found that the perpetrator, after picking up a trolley full of groceries and taking a couple of bottles of whiskey with him, had calmly left the supermarket and fled in an unknown direction,” the text said.

It added that the police had identified the attacker, who was a man born in 1980 with a previous criminal record.

A criminal case under Item “b”, Part 2, Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft” was opened on the fact.
