Criminal case opened in Kuznetsk over injury of bakery complex worker

Kuznetsk, 4 November 2021. PenzaNews. A criminal case under Part 1, Art. 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Violation of occupational safety requirements” was opened in connection with the injury of a worker of a bakery complex in Kuznetsk, Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee.

“According to investigators, a 57-year-old woman received injuries in the form of traumatic separation of four fingers of the right hand, a wound on the fifth finger, qualifying as serious harm to health at a bakery in Kuznetsk in the morning of October 15, 2021, while performing work on the production line for the formation of raw dough billets,” says the press release.

It adds that investigators are currently conducting a complex of actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident and the person responsible for compliance with occupational safety requirements.
