Penza, 6 November 2021. PenzaNews. A resident of the village of Sheino, Penza region, is suspected of stealing 19 bottles of vodka and money from a shop. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

“The operatives found out that having damaged the locking device of the back entrance the citizen entered a grocery shop, from where he stole 19 bottles of vodka and cash amounting to 9 000 roubles,” the press release said.

It adds that criminal proceedings were instituted under Item “b”, Part 2, Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”.

“The perpetrator confessed. A preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave a place and to behave properly was imposed on him,” the text reads.
