Penza, 27 November 2021. PenzaNews. A man faces up to two years in prison for stealing two shopping trolleys from a shopping centre in Penza.

“A local man born in 1971 made a complaint to police station No. 2 of the Penza regional office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The resident of Penza explained that two shopping trolleys had been stolen from a shopping centre. The property damage amounted to more than 18 000 roubles,” says a report from the Penza regional office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It adds that in the commision of the crime the police suspects a resident born in 1989, who had previously been prosecuted.

“The perpetrator confessed. The stolen property was seized. A criminal case was opened in connection with the case under Part 1, Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” the press release said.
