“During the telephone conversation, she agreed on the purchase with a stranger. The citizen transferred a sum of money in the amount of more than 64,000 roubles to the bank account of an unknown person. After money transfer, the scammer ceased to contact. The woman realized that she had been deceived, and then turned to the police,” the message posted on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Penza region says.

It adds that a criminal case under Part 2, Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Fraud” was initiated on the fact.
