Penza, 6 July 2011. PenzaNews. The regional national holiday Sabantuy will take place in the central recreation park named after V.G. Belinsky in Penza on Saturday, July, 9th.

During the offsite meeting devoted to preparation of the holiday, on Wednesday, on July, 6th the vice-governor of the Penza region Sergey Zlatogorsky said that cultural-entertaining activities and sports competitions will be hold on this day.

Besides, honoring of the best rural workers will take place, different art groups will perform on scenic platforms of park and maestros of national Tatar cuisine will present traditional dishes during the day.

According to the chairman of regional Tatar national cultural autonomy Bakir Akzhigitov, climbing the pole to reach a prize, struggle on the belts and other games are expected during Sabantuy.
