Penza, 22 August 2011. PenzaNews. Opening ceremony of the 4th international sculptural symposium will take place in park "Legend" on the territory of Mokshansky area of the Penza region on Thursday, August, 25th.

According to Julia Serebryakova the Press Secretary of the symposium, it will be held till September, 20th.

She said: "The purposes of carrying out of the international symposium are popularization of art, making Russian spectators acquaintance with the tendencies of modern world sculpture, strengthening of the international contacts, creative exchange between masters from  different countries, development of tourism in the region and also creation of new sculptures for the park "Legend".

According to Julia, 68 sculptors and artists from France, the USA, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Japan, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Russia, Ukraine and other countries of the world were chosen for participation in the fourth symposium.

Julia Serebryakova said: "The theme of the symposium of 2011 is "Love Poetry". Marble, bronze, metal, steel, glass and wood will be used for sculptures".
