Church choirs consisting of sight-impaired persons will be organized in Penza

Penza, 25 August 2011. PenzaNews. Church choirs consisting of visually impaired persons and partially sighted people is planned to be organized in Penza on blessing of the bishop of Penza and Kuznetsk Veniamin.

During the meeting with the bishop of the region the chairman of the regional organization of All-Russia society of blind people Victor Kurnaev said: "We plan to create mixed chorus of men and women, and a man's chorus on blessing of Veniamin which will work in Transfiguration of the Saviour friary of Penza".

According to the Press Secretary of Penza eparchy Maxim Klimushin, the bishop Veniamin discussed questions of spiritually-moral revival with the head of the regional organization. They emphasized further interaction of Penza diocese and regional organization of All-Russia society of the blind.

Finally, the bishop thanked the head of the organization of All-Russia society of the blind and presented him a record of divine service church chanting.
