Penza, 1 September 2011. PenzaNews. Opening of the 219th theatrical season take place in Penza Regional Drama Theater named after A.V. Lunacharsky on Tuesday, September, 6th.

According to Vitaly Sokolov, the head of the literary-drama branch of the theater, the new season will start with the first night of tragicomedy in two actions "Dolls" based on the play "Senior Pigmalion" written by Hasinto Grau. The new play was directed by Valery Beljakovich, the national actor of Russia, the winner of the award in the field of culture of the government of the Russian Federation.

He said: "Honored artists of Russia Oleg Zelenchenko, Sergey Kazakov, actors Anna Arzjamova, Julia Vasilenko, Anatoly Gromov, Ruslanbek Dzhurabekov, Sergey Drozhzhilov, Yury Zemljansky, Albert Ibraev, Vladimir Karpov and others will play roles of people and dolls".
