Penza, 16 November 2011. PenzaNews. Inter-regional forum of modern dance “Energy inside me” will be held in Penza for the first time on December, 9th-11th.

According to the organizer of the forum, choreographer Valentine Zaharova, we have had the idea of such forum for a long time.

She said: “The forum will give an opportunity for dancing groups to exchange experience, to take part in master classes of local and Moscow choreographers”.

According to Valentina Zaharova during three-day forum organizers hope to draw attention of the public and mass-media to a problem of deficiency of the qualified teachers-choreographers on modern dance in Penza.

She said: “In our city there is only one educational institution where there choreographers are prepared, there is no discipline devoted to modern dance, dancers should study at own expense in other cities of Russia or abroad to learn new technicians”.

Valentina Zaharova added that the Moscow choreographer Darya Buzovkina will be an honourable guest of the forum.

The organizer of the forum said:She will hold a master class on modern dance in Penza. Besides, Darya Buzovkina and theater “Periculum” will present premier performance “Jump — attempt to fly” which will take place in a museum of V.E. Mejerhold on December, 11th”.

The organizers of the first inter-regional forum on modern dance “Energy inside me” are the studio of modern dance “Voskresenie” and a classical grammar school named after V.G.Belinsky №1.
