Penza, 5 December 2011. PenzaNews. Documentary film “From Russia to Portugal by bicycles”, which was shot as a part of the project “Let’s bike it!” will be presented in “ART gallery 58” in Penza on Thursday, December, 8th.

Anna Petrenko, the coordinator of the project in Penza informed about it: “It is an hour and a half bright video telling about bicycle trip and style of life of nine European countries. This cinema is about love to adventures, bicycles and freedom, about convenient cities and live streets, about possibility of execution of dream”.

She explained that two participants of the project “Let's bike it!” in the summer 2010 traveled by bicycles from Russia to Portugal to collect the information about cycling in European countries.

Anna said: “They traveled 4000 km for 2.5 months. The world premiere of the documentary film which was shot during the trip will be presented on December, 8th, 2011. Spectators in Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, the USA and Mexico will watch this new film”.

According to Anna Petrenko, the project on development of cycling in Russia “Let’s bike it!” was created in April, 2010 for bicycle popularization as comfortable and harmless municipal transportation.

Anna Petrenko added: “The project was carried out by the participants in free time by their own means or money of sponsors. For today 12 persons and more than 100 volunteers who assist from time to time are involved in this project. The project audience has grown 4 times For summer of 2011”.

The film “From Russia to Portugal by bicycles” will start on December, 8th at 19.00 Moscow time. Admission is free.
