Writers and poets Yury Kvitka and Sergey Kubrin was the organizers of the event.

Yury Kvitka said “This summer we have got acquainted with Sergey who is the semifinalist of the national award “Debut” in 2010-2011, the winner of the international literary award “Rainbow – 2010” and have drawn a conclusion that there are a few number of qualitative poetic evenings in Penza. We decided to organize a free concert where people of absolutely different age who are interested in poetry can come”.

He explained that the announcement of this event was in the internet and everybody who is interested in poetry could become its participant, having sent the demand through e-mail.

There were about 50 persons who come to listen to young poets. Thus the participants of the concert underlined that they opposed their poems to so-called to “pseudo-poetry of pseudo-poets”.

Yury Kvitka said: “How can we distinguish bad verses from the good ones? For example, if I write a poem, I read it after some time. If I it seems nonsense for me, I delete it. And if it causes any emotions which are distinct from the emotions which I had when I was writing this poem, it’s great. I wrote about one thing, someone read about another thing there, someone read about the third thing in the same poem, and it is remarkable, it means that a verse is good. The person should pass everything he writes about through his heart and soul”.

As he said, the author of the motto of evening “Don't listen, if you don’t like it” was the young Penza poetess Alena Vasina who moved to Nizhny Novgorod. She was a special guest of the evening.

The poetess admitted: “My very first poem was at the age of 6. It was a quatrain about winter, then I gave up writing the poems and the first serious poem was written in 2004 when I was 13 years old. It was about love of course. I write only about things which irritate me, touch me, inspire me and penetrate into my mind. It is love and sometimes I write about problems when I’m tired”.

As she said, special poetic environment is created in Nizhny Novgorod.

Alena Vasina said: “There is such place, it is called “Storeroom”, earlier there was a museum of interesting things, for example, the fixture made of plugs and spoons, and now this premise has become more popular. One of showrooms is given for products of craftsmen and the second hall is devoted to books and music. There is music and people communicate. Besides, it is possible to buy the books written by those people who are connected with Nizhny Novgorod”.

The girl read 13 poems at the concert, she has already presented at the scene earlier.

The poetess said: “I had an experience of performance with verses last year in January in Penza rock café “Zahvat”. I am not worried. There are people in the hall, I’m sure, who have already been in the same situations as we”.

According to Yury Kvitka, young Penza poets are going to create the internet society “Poets58”.
