Penza, 22 December 2011. PenzaNews. Musical-poetic performance “Hooligan. Confession”, devoted to poet Sergey Yesenin, will be presented at the Penza regional Drama Theater named after A.V. Lunacharsky on January, 20th. Sergey Bezrukov became the director, the composer and the main actor of the performance.

According to actor’s official site, it not just a musical-poetic composition, it is a performance-mystery, a play about life of the great poet Sergey Yesenin, made of his verses and songs base on his verses.

The basis for the performance was the musical album with the same name which was presented during the evening with Sergey Bezrukov at the theater named after Komissarzhevskaya in Petersburg in November, 2008.

The official premiere of the performance “Hooligan. Confession” took place in April, 2009. In November, 2011 Sergey Bezrukov was awarded with “Gold hero” of the ninth Russian theatrical forum for Yesenin’s role in nomination “Chamber performance and a monodrama”.
