Tatar culture festival to take place in Penza

Penza, 9 February 2012. PenzaNews. Regional festival of Tatar culture will take place in recreation center named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky in Penza on Sunday, February 19.

According to administration of the Penza Regional House of Folk Arts, Tatar singers and dancers will take part in the event.

“The main aims of the festivals are to bring people to respect historical heritage and Tatar traditions of the Penza region and to approach amateur collectives and performers of the Penza region,” the press-service informed.

The event starts at 14 o’clock Moscow time.
