Penza, 30 March 2012. PenzaNews. The chairman of the State Council of Republic of Tatarstan Fareed Muhametshin visited new 12-storeyed building of the regional library named after M.Y. Lermontov during his business trip to Penza on March 30 and highly appreciated the work done on preservation of cultural heritage.

"Each region has its own approach, the highlight connected with the mentality. Read pride is kept for the tribes people who made a contribution to the country development in Penza," said Farid Muhametshin after observing the exhibition devoted to Lermontov, Stolypin and “Tarkhany.”
He emphasized that interest to literature and the printing book is falling now, because all information is transferred into electronic medis.
Farid Muhametshin noted that a unique experiment on preservation of libraries as keepers of the wealth which is transferred from the last centuries is stored in the Penza region.
"The library in Penza is not old-fashioned library, everything is modernized and automated there, information is transferred to electronic media. And thus all heritage of the last centuries became available both for youth and the senior generation," he said.
