Penza, 2 April 2012. PenzaNews. Peter Stolypin’s Day devoted to 150th anniversary of the chairman of the board of ministers of the Russian Empire was held in the new building of Penza Regional Library named after M.U. Lermontov on Monday, April 2.

“There were books of 1910-1930 from funds of Moscow State Historical Public Library, published in Russia and abroad, telling about Peter Stolypin and his reforms will be presented in the exhibition,” reported the press service of the department of culture and archive of the Penza region.
Results of the interregional competition of librarians’ creative works “We Need Great Russia” in which more than 50 experts from 10 regions of Russia had took part will be announced at 11 o’clock.
“At 15.00 the exhibition “Stolypin. Lermontov. Tarkhany” from funds State Lermontov Museum - Tarkhany Reserve opens with participation of the director of museum, the honored worker of culture of the Russian Federation Tamara Melnikova,” specified in the department.
