Penza, 10 May 2012. PenzaNews. Donation Day will take place in Penza Regional Museum of Local Lore on Friday, May 18.

According to the press service of the department of culture and region archive, the tradition of charitable gifts in a museum totals more than hundred years.

“Annually museum funds got more than 1 thousand exhibits thanks to donators. The museum staff doesn’t just collect things, they study their origin and study existing environment and create a legend. They receive household things of city and rural life, clothes reflecting the typical phenomena” informed in the press service.

On donation day each philanthropist name will be written down in “Honorable Book.”
