Penza schoolboy won international competition in Finland

Penza, 17 May 2012. PenzaNews. A twelve-year-old pianist from Nizhny Lomov of the Penza region Vitaly Sheremetev won first place in prestigious international competition “Bravo, Turku!” in Finland where about 150 performers from Europe took part.

Young participants performed in the nominations “Folk Songs,” “Pop Songs,” “Circus Art,” “Dancing,” “Art” and “Instrumental Music.” Penza musician became the winner in the last nomination.

According to the regional newspaper “Kuranty-Mayak,” after the competitive program the participants had an excursion on board of 11-deck ocean liner to Stockholm.
