First All-Russian Fireworks Festival takes place in Penza region

Zarechny, 28 May 2012. PenzaNews. The First All-Russian Fireworks Festival called “Fire Fantasy of Zarechny” in which 5 teams from different Russian cities participated took place in Zarechny of the Penza region on the City Day, May 26.

As one of the members of the Festival jury Vice President of the Russian Pyrotechnical Association Mikhail Reznikov said, such festivals are necessary as they provide not only a fire holiday for the people but also enable the exchange of experience.
As Tatyana Saltsova, head of the media relations department of the public relations office of Zarechny, said in an interview with news agency PenzaNews each team was announced a winner in different categories at the close of the festival.
“According to the informal assessment made by the representative of the Russian Pyrotechnical Association, Zarechny team took the first place, Cheboksary came second, and teams from Sergiev Posad and Nizhny Novgorod took the third and fourth places respectively while the team from Saratov came fifth,” she noted.
Zarechny residents received one more present on the City Day in the form of a performance given by Sinyaya Ptitsa (Blue Bird) music band.
