Penza, 23 July 2012. PenzaNews. The festival “Rock Park” involving concerts of Russian and foreign rock stars begins in Penza on August 26.

“The opening concert will be attended by the project Rotoff, the band Mister Twister, Smyslovye gallyutzinatzii and Gorky Park,” the organizing committee of the event told news agency PenzaNews and explained that it would take place on the inside parking lot of the shopping and entertainment center Retail Park.

The organizing committee added that 50 rubles from the ticket price and money from the sale of souvenirs will be transferred to the account for the treatment of seriously ill children who are under the care of the charity fund Pokrov.

“The frequency of concerts is 4–6 times a year. Our goal is to become second in size to the festival “Rock over the Volga,” concluded the organizing committee.
