Penza, 27 August 2012. PenzaNews. About 70 people took part in the opening of the first live music festival “Rock Park” held in Penza on Sunday, August 26.

“According to the applications and tickets sold, about a thousand people planned to visit the rock concert. However, rainy weather apparently played a big role,” said the festival organizer Evgeny Titkov.

In turn, the leader of Smyslovye gallyutzinatzii band Sergei Bobunets highlighted the charitable component of the concert.

He reminded that 50 rubles from the price of every ticket would be transferred to the account for the treatment of seriously ill children who are under the care of the charity fund Pokrov.

The organizers of the “Rock Park” festival voiced hope that the weather would not affect the decision of people to attend the second concert that is scheduled to take place in Penza on November 7.

“Bi-2 will be the headliner of the second concert. In addition, three of the best rock bands of Penza will take part in it, too. Now the bands are selected by voting on the social network,” Evgeny Titkov explained.

The participants of the first live music festival “Rock Park” were the project Kolya Rotoff, the bands Mister Twister, Smyslovye gallyutzinatzii, and Gorky Park.
