Book about Penza village Lunino to be published in Czech Republic

Lunino, 7 September 2012. PenzaNews. The book “Lunino and its surroundings” in the framework of the project “I love you, my native land!” carried out by the Moscow Fund for Assistance to the Development of Russian Culture, will be published in the Czech Republic.
Its author is Vyacheslav Nefedov, the vice-president of the Fund, born in the Penza region, who visited Lunino village. He met with local residents, visited the exhibition “Deservedly about the Distinguished” dedicated to teachers, doctors, cultural masters and agricultural workers, got acquainted with creative straw works of Ekaterina Medyantseva and the Chukotka Peninsula researcher Tikhon Semushkin.
According to local newspaper “Surskaya Pravda,” the book is to come out of press in 2013. It is expected to be an illustrated edition of about 150 pages with 100 test copies.
