Penza, 17 September 2012. PenzaNews. The opening ceremony of the first all-Russian symposium of young photographers “For the Future. Zarechny – 2012” took place in an art museum-salon of Zarechny, the Penza region on Saturday, September 15.

According to the Head of the public relations with Media in Zarechny Tatiana Saltsova, during one week 11 young photographers from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Samara, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg and Kaluga will work in the city.

“Zarechniy will be represented by Daniil Bayushev and Mikhail Samylkin. All participants have been selected according to their portfolios. Evaluation of the work of young photographers will be carried out by professional jury,” the agency interlocutor said.

She explained that on September 16–20 the participants would prepare a series of theme-pictures “School Years.”

“The best photo artist will be awarded the grand prix and cash prize of 70 thousand rubles,” Tatiana Saltsova informed.

The closing ceremony of the symposium will be held on September 23.
