“Today, I see people here who are indifferent to the Russian folk song, which has the soul of our people, so mysterious and unfathomable. These songs bring the good, love, generosity and patriotism — human time-tested values,” the singer stressed.
Marina Devyatova said special thanks to those who came with their children.
“Folk music is seldom to be heard on TV or radio, which is why it is so important to introduce the young audience to it,” she pointed out.
The singer admitted dreaming that the songs from her repertoire, written by contemporary authors, would someday become popular.
“This is the greatest joy for any artist,” Marina Devyatova said.
