Zarechny, 8 November 2012. PenzaNews. Laying of foundation of the church of Nativity of Christ has began in Zarechny, the Penza region on Thursday, November 8.

According to the Head of the public relations with Media in Zarechny Tatiana Saltsova, the website of Zarechny administration organized online broadcast from the construction site.

The first stone of the Orthodox church in Zarechny, the Penza region was laid in May 2010.

The residents of Zarechny donated over 5,6 million rubles for the construction.

The church is designed according to a new space-planning scheme, the main feature of which is the transfer of load from the four domes on the walls, thus achieving architectural expressiveness and freedom of design.

The building will have a built-in tower.

It is planned that the church will consist of two rooms: the upper-church, designed for 800 people, and the lower-church accommodating 400 parishioners.

The lower-church is designed for ritual ceremonies. And the back rooms will be placed there.

The height of the church with the cross will make about 50 meters.
