Exhibition dedicated to 200th anniversary of Battle of Borodino opened in Zarechny

Penza, 9 November 2012. PenzaNews. The opening of the exhibition of bronze miniatures and photographs dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino was held in an art museum-hall named after M. Lermontov in Zarechny, the Penza region.

According to the Head of the public relations with Media Tatiana Saltsova, the exhibition includes over 100 miniatures, and about 70 photographs of annual reconstructions of the battle.
“The author of bronze miniatures is a famous Penza sculptor German Feoktistov, who has been creating his collection for nearly 20 years. A special place among his works belongs to six silver medallions with images of saint patrons of the Russian army. The photographs presented in the museum-hall belong to Andrey Skorobogatov from Zarechny,” the agency interlocutor explained.
She added that the exhibition would be opened until December 15.
