Kazan University student elected Imam of mosque in Kamenka

Penza, 11 April 2013. PenzaNews. Muhammad Nematov, a student of the Russian Islamic University, located in Kazan, was elected Imam of the mosque, construction of which will soon begin in Kamenka, the Penza region.
According to Rinat Batkaev, the head of the information department of the Muslim Board in the Penza region, there is a new local religious organization registered in Kamenka, which will be temporarily located in a prayer house, and then in the new mosque.
“Muhammad Nematov’s candidacy was proposed by the deputy Mufti of the Muslim Board of the region Rinat Akhtyamov. He explained that Imam of the new organization received his basic knowledge about Islam in Maktab in Kamenka. Moreover, Muhammad Nematov is the trustee of Imam of Kamenka,” Rinat Batkaev informed.
In turn, the teacher of Maktab Ravil Kurmaleev noted that morals have always been a distinguishing trait of Muhammad Nematov.
“Muhammad has set a goal of becoming a hafiz being able to recite the Koran by heart. He has been complemented a lot by the leadership of the Russian Islamic University, which confirms his sincere desire to learn the Koran and pursuit knowledge,” the Internet service “Islam in Kamenka” quoted Ravil Kurmaleev.
