Penza, 14 May 2013. PenzaNews. The grand opening of XIV exposition of publishing products, new information technologies and services took place in Penza regional library named after M. Lermontov on Tuesday, May 14.

According to the deputy head of the regional department of culture and archive of the Penza region Kirill Zastrozhny, VIII annual conference of the Russian Library Association (RLA), which has the status of All-Russian Library Congress, as well as exposition of publishing products, will serve as a powerful impetus for the development of this industry in the region.

He expressed hope that Penza, having been selected the Library Capital of Russia in 2013, will continue being one of the largest library centers of the country.

The President of the Russian Library Association Vladimir Firsov said that the exposition of publishing products, new information technologies and services held for the 14th time in Russia, would enable professionals and readers to get acquainted with new products and buy them at low prices.

XIV exposition of publishing products, new information technologies and services will work in the Penza regional library named after M. Lermontov until Thursday, May 16.

Over 40 exhibitors from Russia, USA, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK will present their products.
