Penza regional library given rare books on history of Caucasus

Penza, 11 December 2013. PenzaNews. The Institute of Political and Social Studies of the Black Sea-Caspian region donated the collection of new books on the history and the present of Caucasus to Penza regional library named after Mikhail Lermontov.
As the press service of the regional department of culture and archive told news agency “PenzaNews,” the collection includes 20 publications, many of which have a small run of copies that practically precludes their appearance in bookshops.
“Among the books, delivered to the regional library, there is the four-volume work of Armen Kazaryan “Ecclesiastical Architecture of the Caucasian countries of the 7th century. Formation and Development of Traditions,” the collection of documents “Participation of Armenians in the Patriotic War of 1812,” the album “Religions of the World. Armenia,” the collection of documents “Conflicts in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. 1989–2006,” the monograph of Gegam Petrosyan “Relations of the Republic of Armenia with Russia (1918–1920)” and other publications,” the office said.
The press service added that everyone will be able to get acquainted with the literature donated to the fund of the library in the near future.
