Penza, 14 January 2014. PenzaNews. Several exhibition projects of the State Lermontov’s Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany,” located in the Penza region, will be presented abroad in 2014.

“In the nearest future in Beijing there will be opened the exhibition “My home is wherever there is vault of heaven” presenting works of a member of the Union of Artists of Russia Gennady Salkov. In addition, the exhibition “Lermontov knew them” telling about people who played a significant role in the poet’s fate is planned to be on display in Dushanbe. And residents of the city of Colombo will be introduced to the mansion views while visiting the exhibition “Homeland is all around…” presenting photographs of Vyacheslav Ivaschenko,” a representative of the Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany” told news agency PenzaNews on Tuesday, January 14.

It was noted in the cultural establishment that these exhibitions are dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Mikhail Lermontov and the 75th anniversary of the museum.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, the 200th anniversary of the great Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov will be widely celebrated in Russia in 2014. Some solemn events will take place in the territory of the Penza region.
