Penza, 27 January 2014. PenzaNews. Subsidies for co-financing of domestic tourism will be allocated to municipal areas and urban districts of the Penza region based on the results of a contest announced by the regional department of culture and archive.

The funds will be provided as a part of the state program “Development of Culture and Tourism of the Penza region in 2014-2020.”

The contest welcomes the projects on creation of folk villages, crafts centers, county estates, and tourist centers.

Also, the subsidies can be directed to construct and develop tourism infrastructure, acquire fixed assets, inventory, equipment and tourist navigation.

The contest provides for allocation of up to 90 % of the estimated cost of the work from the regional budget, but not exceeding the amount provided by the state program.
