Penza, 12 February 2014. PenzaNews. The decision to name the new building of Penza regional Philharmonic, built at the intersection of Nekrasova Street and Suvorova Street, after a famous cultural figure was made during a working meeting held in the regional government.

“The name will be chosen with the help of the residents of the region,” the press service of the regional government explained.

During the meeting they also discussed the transfer of the philharmonic staff to the newly established institution of culture “Penzakontsert.”

As the representatives of the federation of trade unions in the region noted, at the moment they had not received any complaints or allegations of violations of labor laws concerning employees of Philharmonic.

“This issue should be thoroughly considered, we are interested in preserving the creative potential of the Penza region,” the deputy chairman of the regional government Vladimir Maltsev pointed out.
